GAS Coming to Silicon Valley

The Glass Art Society (GAS) is gearing up for its 44th Glass Art Society Conference to be held in San Jose, California June 5-7, 2015. The conference theme is "Interface: Glass, Art, and Technology" and will be centered in the heart of downtown San Jose, the capitol of the Silicon Valley a largely walkable conference will delight conference goers with that California experience.

GAS is planning on turning up the heat and breaking the mold with the 2015 conference. San Jose is the center of a hot bed of technological innovation, surrounded by a thrivingly diverse cultural arts scene and home to creative ideas that are only enhanced by bringing extreme opposites together in new and meaningful ways.

The conference will therefore focus on the artful collision of Glass and Technology: exploring new ways to enable interface, fostering connectivity and infusing the glass and technology scene with astonishing possibilities.

GAS will create a conference that strives to bring together the opposite ends of silicon (from soda-lime glass to semiconductor electronics), incorporating new technologies, encouraging outside of the box presentation proposals, and promoting glass deeper into the public sphere. This is one conference you will not want to miss!
